Důležité upozornění vydané Červeným křížem a záchrannými organizacemi:
Záchranáři a řidiči ambulance si všimli, že u dopravních nehod má většina zraněných u sebe mobilní telefon. U zraněných osob, se kterými nelze komunikovat, ale zásahové síly neví, koho by měli z dlouhého seznamu adres kontaktovat.
Řidiči a lékaři záchranné služby tedy navrhli, aby každý zadal do svého adresáře v mobilu osobu, kterou je třeba kontaktovat v nouzovém případě, pod tou samou zkratku.
Mezinárodně uznávaná zkratka je: ICE = In Case of Emergency
Pod touto zkratkou zaznamenejte telefonní číslo osoby, která bude v případě nouze kontaktována policií, hasiči či první pomocí.
